What I want to share from my experiences is that love conquers everything. It is my hope that it will inspire the readers to open their hearts to the Divine. If we can try to understand that we all are equally part of the Divine and are here to achieve this greater Truth and to realise our Self - if we make this our goal and do everything with Love…then everything will be lovely and you will always be happy.

Love

Swami Vishwananda tells you today:

Very often, when I talk about meditation, people get stressed and nervous about what is awaiting them. You see, to come into contact with this love and to feel this love, one has to be calm. If one is not calm, it is quite difficult to feel it.

At first, take a few deep breaths and when you breathe out,

drop your shoulders. Release all pressure from them.

Now, with your creative mind – do not forget, as God is a

creator, you are also a creator – use the mind, focus at

your third eye.

Create any Divine form that you like, normally we do it

with om. You can also create any Divine aspect: Jesus,

Krishna, whoever you feel close with.

At the same time, with your ears, listen to your breath.

When you breathe in, listen to it carefully, and when you

breathe out, keep listening.

Take your time, breathe slowly in and slowly out – there

is no rush. Remind yourself that your mind has to focus

on your third eye.

Slowly, when you are breathing in, recite the Divine name

of the form you have created and inhale it inside – do the

same when you exhale.

Let the Divine aspect increase its size.

Increase its size until you see yourself, your physical aspect,

inside this Divine aspect.

Feel the calmness, the joy, the happiness you have when

you are in God.

Now make this Divine being smaller and bring it to your

heart, to your physical heart. Let it enter into your heart.

Slowly – open your eyes.

This was a small meditation. There are thousands of ways to meditate, but try to do what you feel calm and happy with. The main thing is that you have to lose yourself. Lose the identity that you have attached to your body. Remind yourself that you are just the spirit, just part of God. Certainly you will realise it through practice and discipline. Not many people like this word, ‘discipline’. It seems so. Discipline is not something which should scare you, but you should be disciplined with yourself. Because when you start enjoying the love of God within you, it is you who will enjoy it – it’s nobody else first. So it is the same with the discipline, you have to be disciplined yourself. You have to really want it! All right? Jai Gurudev!
